Curtis P Norman,President of the C & FW Railroad explains how modern and up to date their Railroad is. Only to discover that there is still a forgotten branch line which has not been updated in over 20 Years. This old steam line passes through Hooterville and past Kate Bradleys shady rest motel on the way to Pixley. Homer Bedlow VP of the C & FJ RR is sent to investigate and formulate a plan to replace the old steam train with a modern turbo diesel electric train.
